New single 'Damned!' brings listeners into the dark, industrial electro-metal world of Mokery.
Mokery are unapologetically fierce in their new single 'Damned!'. The rock/metal alt three-piece from Lyon, France, is made up of members that have played in various bands over the years, each of the trio has at least fifteen years spent in the music industry. This is a band with experience and a sound that shows that, their alternative metal sound at times verges on Industrial and they are quite a unique one to listen to. The dark feeling single is intense with heavy, relentless riffs. 'Damned!' explores the destructive power of toxic relationships and it does this by combining the dark tones with this fierce electro-metal style and finishing it off with a load of heavy riff moments. This is a loud track that bleeds with rawness and fully captures the anger and emotion that can be felt within those toxic situations. I've been listening to Mokery for a while now and this is one of their darker tracks but it also feels mature and packed with everything that makes this band.
