Exciting new band indigo are away to release their second single 'Red', on the 1st of May
Indigo are an exciting new band with a grunge rock sound that is drenched in 90's nostalgia. Formed earlier this year in January (2024), the group have already put out one single 'Come Down', and have another on the way. 'Red' will be released on the 1st of May. With a sound that in my opinion is like if you crossed Wolf Alice and Crawlers, Indigo are a rock band that are a little rough around the edges in a good way. 'Red' feels very vocal driven and is powered by emotion. The track is about the feelings at the end of a bad relationship and the anger and resentment that you can feel. While listening to Indigo's new track I couldn't help but imagine them playing some dirty venue you'd see on 90's TV and that's the energy their songs have. 'Red' compared to their previous release I think leans a little more into modern rock but not too much. I have definitely found a new band to be a fan of and my only complaint is that the song isn't long enough.
