Vanitas release their heaviest single yet 'Nobody'.
Vanitas have put out their fierce new single 'Nobody'.
Formed in 2022 Vanitas have become a powerful force in the progressive metal scene. Known for their dynamic live performance and own brand of 'cinematic djent' they've built an impressive loyal following over the years. The five-piece were also highlighted as 'ones to watch' by BBC Introducing following the success of their 'Journey To The Sun' EP. Easily the bands heaviest track yet 'Nobody' moves away from the lighter cinematic tones found in Vanitas's previous EP and into something darker. 'Nobody' comes with a crushing weight that's complimented by light symphonic edges. Even with it's heavier feeling there's still that Disney lightness and the bands signature way of making you feel like you could of stepped right into a video game battle while listening. The track is a fierce feminine rage anthem written about vocalist Jade's experiences as a woman in the music industry. Feeling like a big f you to anyone that's tried to bring her down this intense track may be my favourite Vanitas release yet.
