Sixth Wonder - Missile

One of Scotland's most talked about metal acts Sixth Wonder return with cinematic new single 'Missile'.

Scotland's djent-pop act Sixth Wonder return with brand new single 'Missile'. Rapidly rising since the release of their debut EP 'Prologue' last year (2025) Sixth Wonder appear to be an unstoppable force in heavy music scene's. Having already conquered some pretty impressive live dates including a spot at Alyx Holcombe's MANTRA the trio are showing absolutely no signs of slowing down with upcoming festival dates and support slots for The Hara. Off the back of the success of 'Prologue' Sixth Wonder appear to be entering a new era and one that will surely continue to propel them to more success.

"'Missile' is about chasing a high, yet at the same time understanding that the feeling is fleeting and you are numb underneath. It speaks on momentary euphoria that can succumb to being dead behind the eyes, seeing the next 'thing to do' and never being satisfied with what is in front of you." - (Rebekah Kirk, Vocalist, Sixth Wonder)

A sort of tense and unsettling atmosphere welcomes you into the track that is 'Missile' but it's drenched in a dreamy pop safety luring you in like a hunter lures it's prey. Yet before long the 'Missile' strikes launching djent-inspired riffs fueled with intensity. Sixth Wonder have always been experts of combining sweet pop-like melodies with dangerous and ferocious tones but I think in this new track they've really nailed the almost unsettling horror movie feeling of having no idea what's around the next corner. As with every Sixth Wonder release but specifically this new one their songs aren't necessarily to be listened to but rather experienced and this is an experience I can almost guarantee that you will enjoy. 'Missile' also comes accompanied with a cinematic music video directed by Sixth Wonders own Dylan McVey.
