Culturist - Bridge Flowers

Culturist remind listeners that you are never alone with single 'Bridge Flowers'.

Recent single 'Bridge Flowers' from Culturist delivers the message that you are never alone. The metalcore act from Newcastle Upon Tyne appeared in the scene back in 2024 and since then have released a few singles. Already gaining the attention of radio stations like BBC Introducing with Alyx Holcombe and playing some impressive shows I'm surprised I didn't have this act on my radar already. Taking inspiration from artists like Architects, Polaris and Alpha Wolf this is a group that you definitely want in your modern metalcore playlists. The five-pieces most recent release 'Bridge Flowers' talks about mental health and serves as a reminder that you are never alone, and it's not weak to speak up about things that are maybe troubling you it's a sign of strength. The track builds a kind of haunting atmosphere while also being relentless with it's emotive metalcore sounds. Chuggy riffs and soaring yet rough vocals remind me a lot of Architects while Culturist take it to deeper, more demonic levels. In almost a contrast to the verses the chorus brings bigger soaring vocal melodies further cementing this as an impressive modern metalcore piece. All in all this is a great track that I'm honestly surprised isn't seeing more attention, so it goes without saying, listen to 'Bridge Flowers' by Culturist.
