THE HARA announce their brand new single 'Kings' as well as album launch shows.

THE HARA have put out their brand new single 'Kings' as well as announcing a couple of album launch shows for January in London and Manchester. 2025 has seen the trio fly through the European festival circuit with performances including the Mighty Sound Festival, a surprise set at Rock For People, 2000 Trees and Boomtown Festival. The band also supported Nothing More in Switzerland, played their own headline shows and did a full UK tour with As December Falls. Now THE HARA are gearing up to release their next album 'The Fallout' which is set for release 23rd of January via Mascot Records. Laced with the bitter taste of broken trust new single 'Kings' comes as the next installment from 'The Fallout'.
"This song is about losing trust. It's hard to know what's real sometimes in an industry built on dreams. When so many people make promises they can't keep, you start to become cynical of everyone. I see the black in your eyes, I've found the monochrome you're hiding ' Even when you have success, you believe there's always got to be a catch, or it wont last forever. There is still an undertone of hope and belief portrayed through the lens of anger and frustration in this song, though ' you can take this part of me, burn the heaven down that I live in, basically, you can keep beating us down, but we will still find a way to make it out the other end." - (THE HARA)
Another great song from upcoming album 'The Fallout', 'Kings' lyrically builds a dark atmosphere while the guitars and drums back them up with force. This song feels a little more like older releases from THE HARA but holds the same darkness as other recent songs from their new album. While for me this one doesn't stand-out as much as previous singles like 'Violence' or 'Easier To Die' it's definitely a nice addition to the mix and I enjoy it's large atmospheric chorus and the vulnerable lyricism.
