Rage Doll - Low Blow
Rage Doll step into a new era with single 'Low Blow'.
Alternative duo Rage Doll make their comeback with single 'Low Blow'.
Since forming back in 2022 the duo have built a sound that combines alternative, rock, modern metal, trap and global musical traditions.
New single 'Low Blow' balances seductive yet gritty melodies with heavily distorted guitars. The track takes some elements from Slavic and South Asian musical traditions including a hook sung in Russian. This is a comeback that's fizzling with electric intesity pulling a lot of energy from the modern metalcore genre and combining it with trap like elements. It feels like a seductive dark dance track throughout and is completed with a chorus that sees the guitars roaring into life. The act describe themselves in their Instagram bio as quirky and deadly and that is exactly the way I would describe 'Low Blow'.
