ANKOR - ITACHI - Blood Mood
Alt-metal outfit ANKOR announce new mini album 'I See Red', with second track 'ITACHI - Blood Moon' out now!
Catalonia based alt-metal outift announce new mini album 'I See Red' and drop second track 'ITACHI - Blood Moon' with accompanying music video. The multiculteral quintet came from humble beginnings in a small town in Barcelona, but since coming together in 2003 the act have a won over a large fan base and earned a worldwide following. On the mini album 'I See Red' each track will capture the lore of prominent villains in the Naruto manga and anime series.
"'I See Red' is a journey through pain, power, sacrifice, betrayel, loss and obsession. Each song tells the story of someone who was shaped by the world around them and by the choices they made when everything they believed in began to fall apart. Some sought peace. Some sought power. Some sacrificed everything for the people they loved. Others let hatred consume what was left of them. But none of them were born monsters. The world made them. And sometimes, when pain becomes the only thing you know, becoming the monster is easier than becoming the victim. Six names. Six paths. One Color. I See Red." - (Jessie Williams, Vocalist, ANKOR)
'ITACHI - Blood Moon' is an almost haunting track with a strength backing it. From the gentle vocals to gutteral moments, dance beats and metalcore, and big riffs balanced with emotive lyricism there is a lot going on in this track but it all comes together creating the perfect brutal lullaby. ANKOR is a band that honestly I've been sleeping on, I can't believe I never got round to checking them out before but this track has me eagerly wanting more from the quintet.
ANKOR will be hitting the road this Autumn/Winter across the UK & Europe.
