Aberdeen based Masenko are releasing their next single 'Cyclone' on the 10th of March.
'Cyclone' the new track from Masenko is upbeat, catchy, fun and will be available to listen to from March 10th. Recently Masenko have been releasing tracks that feel quite stylistically different from one another but in my opinion 'Cyclone' is almost "taking it back to the roots" and reminds me more of earlier releases from the band like 2020's 'Demon Brains' or 'Plan'. 'Cyclone' which is about the feelings of blame after a relationship opens as an upbeat and energetic track, that as a listener you know you're hearing something that you could dance along with. The modern, vibrant tone with the classic edged guitars is just very Masenko. 'Cyclone' has punchy vocals that add to the overall lively energy of the song and this one makes a really nice addition to the four-pieces discography. 'Cyclone' maybe doesn't stand out as a song that I have to go listen to again and again, but it is one I enjoyed checking out. For me, this is the kind of track I put on my playlist and I'm happy when it comes on, but I maybe wouldn't go out of my way to add it to the queue. However, having said that I do think it is worth giving a listen when it drops on the 10th.
