Falling Empires - Firefight
Falling Empires release their deeply personal new track 'Firefight'.
Falling Empires deliver a 2000's screamo vibe with a modern twist on new personal track 'Firefight'. Tackling heavy themes of mental health Falling Empires new song acts as an emotional gut-punch with a nostalgic-core sound. With a big sound Falling Empires are definitely a modern 'core' band that know exactly what kind of music fans want to hear. This lyrically honest and raw piece sound wise reminds me of acts like Static Dress but with an almost emo edge. As someone who grew up with 2000's screamo and emo bands on loop this track is the perfect combination of new and old. Then being so open lyrically talking about things that some artists may shy away from makes Falling Empires one of the more relatable acts in the genre.
