downcast drop their deeply personal new single 'falling to pieces' which features Youth Fountains Tyler Zanon.

downcast have entered their next chapter with first release of 2026, the intensely personal 'falling to pieces'. The Bristol emo/alt rock quartet have spent the last few years carving a name for themselves not only in their local scene but all across the UK. The bands 2025 EP release 'Nothing Left to Give' gained them particular attention with notable tracks like 'Nothing Left to Give' which features Jessie Powell (Dream State), and 'Home' which saw Sammy from WSTR on the feature. downcast have now stepped into their next chapter with first release of 2026 'falling to pieces' which sees yet another feature this time from Tyler Zanon of Youth Fountain.

"'falling to pieces' is about my little brother who passed away last September at the age of twenty-eight. He struggled with severe alcohol addiction for a long time, which eventually caused fatal medical complications. The song was written during a time of confusion, before we understood exactly what took him from us. All I knew was that nothing could change what had happened. The song captures the anger and frustration I carried while learning to accept this." - (Liam Edwards, Vocals, downcast)
