'Nobody Else' from David Delinquent & The IOU's encourages everyone to celebrate their uniqueness, in the bands own pop n roll fashion.
On the 15th of November David Delinquent & The IOU's released their fun new single 'Nobody Else'. For fans of the likes of Sex Pistols or Manic Street Preachers, David Delinquent & The IOU's have their own pop n roll style that also feels very rooted in a punk sound. The fun and energetic Dundee five-piece formed in 2021 and have achieved many things in those few years, including playing Rebellion Festival and supporting The Vapors in Dundee. The group even became a fan favourite at Heartland Festival where they were the only band to play both days and have since been invited back for a main stage slot on the Saturday in 2025. 'Nobody Else' explores breaking down barriers, coming out of the box and stepping away from stereotypes. This single has a punchy, punk rock aesthetic while still leaning into rock n roll a little bit. This is a loud and optimistic one that will inspire you with the lyric "I don't wanna be nobody else" that rings out through the chorus, begging you to not only sing along but believe what you're singing. Sitting somewhere between punk, rock and pop this one feels straight out of a garage in the 2000's and it's positive energy will make you want to listen again and again.
David Delinquent & The IOU's are set to record their debut album in 2025 so keep your eyes peeled for that one.
