'Better Off Without' is the new single from pop-rock band Blockade, they have also announced they will be dropping the music video tomorrow.
Blockade released their new pop-rock anthem 'Better Off Without' last week and the accompanying video will be out tomorrow (08/03/24). Formed in 2022 in London, Blackade have already amassed over 40,000 streams and rightfully so. The bands pop-rock sound with powerful and soulful vocals makes their music unique, it's no surprise that they have already sold-out venues with their high energy. Blockade draw influence from the likes of Lower Than Atlantis, Deaf Havana and Don Broco but as a mentioned their sound is very unique to them. 'Better Off Without' is fresh and catchy. Blockade wanted to create a track that's easy to pick up the words and sing-along with live, and they have definitely achieved that. The song that's about being "better off without" a situation whether that be a relationship, job etc. will have you singing along with the title lyric in the big chorus. I have been listening to Blockade since their debut single 'Mess You Made' (2023), and even in the short time since that release 'Better Off Without' shows a lot of growth within their sound. It's a rock song with the catchiness of a pop song and is packed with energy and soul. I would highly recommend checking out this track, and for any visual lovers don't miss out on seeing the music video when it drops at 6pm on Friday, it's really beautifully filmed. Blockade have some live shows booked for 2024 and should have more music dropping throughout the year.
