Big Red Fire Truck - Trouble In Paradise

Australian hard rock outfit Big Red Fire Truck have released their new guitar-driven EP 'Trouble In Paradise'.

The Australian bands new collection of tracks shows off Big Red Fire Trucks modern take on classic rock/metal. Big Red Fire Truck was started by lead vocalist Digby back in 2016 as a bit of fun. The artist wanted to hear more songs in the heavy metal style that he loves so decided to create them himself. Big Red Fire Truck are clearly inspired by the heavy and glam metal sound of the 80's, but they bring their own character to the table, delivering something fun for their audience.

"We're making this music because there's not enough of this style in the mainstream and I miss bands like Van Halen, Bon Jovi and Aerosmith releasing new music. I miss having fun heavy rock music to listen to. We want to keep that alive while ripping off your car speakers." - (Digby, Lead Vocals & Guitar)

The new EP opens appropriately with the 80's synth vortex that is 'Neon Sunsets' before you are slammed with the high-energy 'Trouble In Paradise'. The modern take on classic hard rock packs a punch. Also featured on 'Trouble In Paradise' are tracks like the groovy 'Love Bite' or punkish anthem 'Miami Skies'. Big Red Fire Truck aren't afraid to deliver a variant of sounds within their classic rock genre. The other two tracks on the EP are 'Psychotropic Thunder', my personal favourite, which dives into something a little darker. Then this is contrasted by closer 'Hot Summer Nights' which is a feel-good vacation track.
