Atomic Mother have announced a competition where you could win a one-of-a-kind guitar as well as unveiling their brand new single 'All Systems Go'.
Aberdeen based rock n rollers Atomic Mother released their latest guitar fueled single 'All Systems Go', as well as announcing a competition to win a one-of-a-kind guitar in conjunction with RamJam Music Co. Atomic Mother have come onto my radar since they recently signed with independent Aberdeen based record label Fat Hippy Records. The group are delivering guitar fueled rock n roll and I could see them gaining popularity especially in the "local" gigging circuit. 'All Systems Go' as I mentioned before is high voltage, guitar powered rock n roll. This is one I could imagine going crazy in a live setting. The song slowly rumbles in before exploding with these soaring guitars and crashing drums. Then in comes the fuzzy, gritty yet powerful vocals. Atomic Mother are described as the loudest band in Aberdeen and with this song alone it's easy to see why, listening to 'All Systems Go' you feel like they are throwing everything into the song, demanding your attention. Overall, for me this is a great powerful rock n roll track that deserves to be listened to. As well as releasing this exciting new single Atomic Mother have also announced a competition ahead of their upcoming album release. Teaming up with independent music store RamJam Music Co. they are giving one lucky winner the chance to win a one-of-a-kind guitar. All you have to do is perform a couple of social media actions then record yourself shredding along with the backing track that Atomic Mother provide, and post it on your own social media (making sure to tag Atomic Mother, RamJam Music and Fat Hippy Records). From this two finalists will be chosen and will get the chance to play on stage with Atomic Mother at their album launch on the 15th of September at the OGV Podium in Aberdeen.
