Knives deliver their first taste of their highly anticipated second album with single 'VERMILIION'.

Knives have announced their second album 'NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN', listen to first single 'VERMILLION' now! Rooted in the Bristol alternative scene the six musicians have influences spanning from hardcore to post-punk to noise rock, nu-metal and electronic genres. This mash up of musical influences mixed with the way they take inspiration from their local area and the art around them makes their music not only heavily rooted but fresh and a little different. New single 'VERMILLION' asks the question 'can you stand by the choices you've made?'.

"'VERMILIION' is centred around the idea of consequence. It's about trying to live in a way that reflects your values, knowing that every decision you make affects not only yourself but the people around you. The song asks whether the things we leave behind are something we can truly be proud of" - (Knives)

'VERMILLION' is a track that demands your attention, with a bouncy heavy energy and a fresh new vibe Knives have definitely made their way onto my playlist with this one. Vocally it spits in your face before descending into something more floaty and then we are hit right with the heavy screeches as the fast instrumental breaks through. After hearing 'VERMILION' I'm actually a little sad that I hadn't heard of Knives before because this song is fantastic!
