Once again firing up the alternative scene, newcomers TOY PARLOUR have released their next single 'Dead Inside'.
At the end of last month alt outfit TOY PARLOUR put out their charged up third single 'Dead Inside'. Comprised of members of Beach Riot and Gnarlah the group combine their prior unique and influential sounds making a band that is filled with a certain swagger and packed with raw energy. Following on from their blistering public debut at Brighton festival The Great Escape and their debut single 'Say Something' reaching over 10k streams in it's first two months TOY PARLOUR taking their space in the alternative scene. This is only the bands debut year and with each and every thing they do they are only going to get bigger and better. New single 'Dead Inside' feels like their biggest sound yet while really channeling an intense rawness.
"We absolutely love this song, it came to us very easily and on a whim whilst writing another tune during a long weekend at Jonny's house demoing. Mid take for something else, Rory came up with the main intro riff on the fly, and we all basically stopped what we were doing and turned that into the song almost instantly. Straight off the bat 'Dead Inside' has a massive fuzz laden energy that's distinctly modern. As the track moves on it keeps its fuzzy charm but develops from having an almost gentle beat into something hard hitting and intense. The chorus feels like it literally swallows you up with it's massive sounds and soaring vocal. Alongside the addictive intro riff there's lots of cool little moments within the track making it unique and well worth your time.
