New single 'Remove The Stigma' from Alt Rockers Tooth Marks raises awareness of struggles and stigma surrounding mental health. This glittery, guitar driven track will be released on the 15th of October.
Alt rock biters Tooth Marks provocative new single 'Remove The Stigma' which is going to be released on the 15th of October will be the fifth independant release from the Bedfordshire based group. They're previous singles 'Out Of My Mind', 'Where We Are', 'Fight For You Any Way' and 'Falling Down' all recieved musical acclaim. 'Remove The Stigma' is being released to raise awareness of struggles and stigma that is attached to mental health, especially in men. Seeing bands release songs to raise awareness for important topics is always really great. I think that Tooth Marks are doing a good job with this one as well, as the song is very catchy and even though it is about a topic that can be quite emotional they manage to keep the song fairly upbeat.
"This single really means a lot to us, especially after the recent times we have all had. It's been a really tough couple of years for everyone, both physically and mentally and we just wanted to capture these personal struggles in our music." (Tooth Marks)
As well as the important topic and lyrical content this song is really great instrumentally. I would especially like to point out the kind of glittery, classic rock type intro and the awesome guitar solo. In my opinion this song does feel like it could easily fit into the sound of the 70's, early 80's rock scene which personally is music that I love. If you decide to give this one a listen (which I would recommend) make sure you take a second to listen to the lyrics because not only are they catchy but they talk about something so important.
