Stay Safe burst back onto the scene with their energetic new pop punk track 'Catastrophe'.

Stay Safe are welcoming in a new chapter of their music with single 'Catastrophe'. The group who formed in the aftermath of Covid-19 have spent the last five years playing as many shows as possible and working to perfect their sound. The Manchester act have now released their first music in almost a year, .Catastrophe' also marks the start of a new era. After the success of 2025 debut album 'Late Nights & Long Drives' many people, me included, are excited to see what this new chapter will bring for Stay Safe. 'Catastrophe' is a typical super fun pop punk vibe with some honest lyricism and a massive alternative riff.
"We wanted 'Catastrophe' to tell the story of a relationship through the lens of the roles couples' play - sometimes when things aren't quite right it can feel like you're just going through the motions and playing the role you're supposed to rather than actually being present. And whilst we do wanna express ourselves as songwriters, pop punk's at it best when it's FUN. The track might have kinda emo lyrics, it's an absolute bop based around this massive riff, and a video that fits that 2010's pop punk comedy vibe, playing on the whole cinematography concept and way too many costume changes." - (Stay Safe)
New single 'Catastrophe' is definitely fun! The pop punk piece clearly channels artists like New Found Glory and All Time Low. Taking a big alternative riff and surrounding it with a massive personality there's nothing not to love with this one. The addictive piece is bouncy throughout with a chorus that begs you to keep coming back for more. Stay Safe have proved with this single why they're one of the most exciting upcoming pop punk acts of the time.
