South Florida rock outfit Modern Mimes sees their dark single 'Heavy Heart' reinvented by DJFM.

Modern Mimes see their dark track 'Heavy Heart' meet dubstep and trap in DJFM's remix. Arianie and Ernesto began Modern Mimes as a duo back in 2016 and brewed their sound from influences such as Portishead, Nine Inch Nails, Sevendust and Lacuna Coil. The duo was seen performing at the likes of Riptide Music Festival alongside Weezer, Silversun Pickups and more. Then in 2018 they were joined by drummer Justin Perez, who has completed the current line-up.
"Modern Mimes is my favourite band to come along in some time and I really wanted to do the remix justice! So, when I began to work on it, I decided to blend current dubstep and trap sounds with some of the 1990s industrial rock influences I share with the band - while still maintaining the spirit of the original song!" - (DJFM)
