UK Grime-infused Metal unit Hacktivist give listeners another taste of the new era with single and video 'Masquerade'.

Grime-metal pioneers Hacktivist release their biting, urgent and emotive new track 'Masquerade'. Following on from their heavy single 'Bones' which gave the first taste of the new era Hacktivist continue to deliver monumental sounds but this time with a more emotive lean. The strong track definitely feels more emotional and it's djent lean over blistering riffs adds to this. 'Masquerade' feels deeply personal and like Hacktivist are really letting you into their deepest thoughts. The band have always combined their grime elements with metalcore expertly but this new era is proving that Hacktivist are really in their strongest form yet, and 'Masquerade' shows them dive deeper into more experimental sounds while making something relatable and massive sounding.
