Cincinnati's Yung Mosh have just released their explosive new single 'Facetime'. Born from the ashes of previous incarnation The World I Knew, Yung Mosh originally formed five years ago and have been fusing the chaos of trap with the aggression of metal and the accessibility of rock ever since. The brainchild of Wesley Merritt, Yung Mosh is known for their unpredictable genre blending creating songs that are as equally packed with swagger as they are crushing and heavy.

"'Facetime' is about being done with someone's abuse and taking your power back. It's a power fantasy where we get to introduce our enemies to some good old-fashioned vindication." - (Wesley Merritt, Yung Mosh)

'Facetime' is a crushing track that comes across as a cathartic anthem that's packed with everything heavy. Complete with metalcore screams and guitars and a hip-hop swagger this is a track that just keeps on giving. The lyric "you ain't ready for this, no more holding back" feels like it could be talking about 'Facetime' itself, as this one definitely isn't holding back. Seemingly spitting everything they have at you Yung Mosh have a kind of vulnerability within this single but it's fueled by that fantasy of taking power back leaving them the ones in control.
