Glass Veins pull straight from the darkest corners of indie rock with new single 'Shadows'.
Glass Veins lyrically delve into the concept of moving forward and putting the past behind you in their dark indie track 'Shadows'.
The five-piece make up an alt rock outfit that draws inspiration from some of the darker sides of indie while also delivering large brighter edged synths. With hints of artists like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Kasabian, Editors and Queens of the Stone Age found throughout their music, Glass Veins have created their own unique musical vision. New single 'Shadows' focuses on being in a bad place and moving forward, putting the past behind you. The dark riff driven piece is complimented by the wall of vivid synths and the drawl of indie rock vocals. The modern feeling track definitely has a dark personality but the upbeat tempo keeps it hopeful, as if somehow finding that light amongst the darkness and shadows.
