New single 'Scarlett' from The Painting is a love story for the romantics.
Glasgow based pop rock band The Painting have released their new dreamy single 'Scarlett'. Officially forming as The Painting in 2024, the Scottish group previously known as Arcade State have released a dozen singles, an EP and a full-length album. Most of which came under the previous moniker. The Painting are now gearing up to release their brand new album which is set for release in October of this year.

Continuing to create the dreamiest of nostalgic soundscapes, The Painting's new single 'Scarlett' combines energies from artists like Harry Styles, The War On Drugs and The Killers. Perfectly capturing the dizzying first stage of connection, this is a song of romantic chaos and it pulls you into it's cinematic beauty. The uplifting feeling of the pop guitars with the gentle beat of the drums and the emotive vocals pulling it all together this is hands down my favourite song by The Painting.
