Collapse The Sky - Half Life
Collapse The Sky have released their striking new single 'Half Life'.
Collapse The Sky release new single and video 'Half Life'. Hailing from Norfolk, UK, Collapse The Sky are an act that have been making their name known in the UK metal scene. With performances at legendary festivals like Download and Bloodstock this is a band you know are making great music before even hearing them. Collapse The Sky don't shy away from experimentation, their sound combining elements of metalcore, orchestral moments, ethereal synths and a ferocious backbone. 'Half Life' which dropped late July is a striking piece that combines the raw heaviness of acts like Lamb of God with metalcore elements more reminiscent of modern acts like Architects. From the electronic build up in the intro right into the chuggy riffs I knew very quickly I was going to be hooked on this track. There's a lot of smart guitar work in this one and as a whole the track never goes quite in the direction you would expect, which shows how talented Collapse The Sky are as songwriters. 'Half Life' packs a brutal punch and is one for every heavy music lover.
