Call Of Sirens new single 'Puppeteer' is a powerful alt-rock anthem for anyone who has ever fought to regain control of their life.
Call Of Sirens raw and powerful new single delves into a narrative of control, manipulation and eventual rebellion. The four-piece from Portsmouth, UK, with their energetic, melodic rock sound have become known for their electrifying stage presence and thought-provoking songwriting. 2024 has been an exciting year for the alt-rock group as they've received airplay across various radio stations including BBC Introducing, as well as winning Punk on the Rocks Battle of the Fans Competition, at performing and the legendary Victorious Festival. Alongside their music Call Of Sirens are actively involved in their local music scene, drummer Matt Hance participated in the 1000 Lights event for Uprawr Mental Health, alongside 999 other musicians in a monumental show of support for mental health awareness. Told from the perspective of a woman who wants to sever the strings that control her and reclaim her freedom, the raw 'Puppeteer' delves into the narrative of control, manipulation and finding your freedom again. The single has a DIY sort of vulnerability while still being an incredible song of strength, the driving guitars and soaring vocals particularly come alive in the large chorus. Melodically this one is easy on the ears, sounding much like other tracks within the genre but there's a force behind this one that makes it feel vulnerable, optimistic and a little rough at the edges.
