Break Fifty give a raw exploration of grief and mental collapse in new single 'Carousel'. The South UK four-piece burst onto the hardcore scene a couple of years ago and since then have been creating pure chaoticism through blends of hardcore and nu-metalcore. The groups heavy sound is born from honest frustration and every track bleeds a raw vulnerability while giving you downtuned heaviness to mosh to. 'Carousel' gives listeners a very real and honest look into the journey of grief.

"'Carousel' is my own journey through grief and my mental collapse after loss of loved ones. I trapped myself in a relentless cycle of self-destruction, asking myself "could I of done more?". I spiralled deeper into despair, battling my inner demons, trying to blank the reoccurring memories. I found myself in the lowest point of my life. Hanging by a thread, this dark moment was the beginning of my understanding of how unforgiving the world can be." - (Goose, Vocalist, Break Fifty)

Taking elements from hardcore and metalcore 'Carousel' is an in-your-face single that doesn't let up for a second. The fast paced track powers through moshy moments that are lyrically laced with raw emotions. This one is intense all round with everything from racing drums, guitars that seem to move even faster and urgent raw vocals. I'm honestly a little disappointed I hadn't heard of Break Fifty before this because they are now firmly on my list of new bands that I am excited to be listening to.
