Skeptical Minds tell a story of taking steps to achieve your destiny with brand new single 'The Key'.

Taken from their latest album 'Kharon', 'The Key' explores the choices you have to make in order to reach your destiny. With a sound that mixes melodic with electro and riffy guitars, Skeptical Minds came onto the scene back in 2002 and the Belgian group have been making big waves ever since. With 'The Key' Skeptical Minds create an atmosphere that builds with each second, the melodic/symphonic metal track is intense in the guitars but vocally softer creating a little bit of an unsettling feeling throughout the verses. While the chorus builds into something that feels like a fantasy, big and packed with melodic metal power. While I'm not normally the biggest fan of this style of metal music there's something about the fierce yet attractive energy in 'The Key' that made me want to listen again and again after finding it. It's a little quirky, a little unsettling and has me very intrigued to go listen to more of Skeptical Minds discography.
