Hot on the heels of powerful singles 'Leaving Party' and 'Mr Right', Our Nameless Boy unveil their next track 'Dress Rehearsal'.

Bristol's favourite emo-inspired four-piece have released their introspective new single 'Dress Rehearsal'. Inspired by late 90's/00's US alternative sounds, Our Nameless Boy are putting their own stamp on the emo/alternative genre. With songs that are both hard-hitting and fueled by emotions the four-piece have created a discography that is as powerful as it is intricate.
Lyrically, 'Dress Rehearsal' explores themes of introspection and self-analysis.
"[The track] touches on the idea of reflecting upon a conversation or encounter and wishing you'd done or said something differently. My wife's ability to think and process new information, as well as her emotions, and ultimately speak her mind with clarity and confidence in the moment is something I envy and try my best to emulate. More often than not though, I feel I need time to process and adequately verbalize whatever instincts I have, and that can be frustrating for me, and perhaps the people I'm with. The 'Dress Rehearsal' in question then is the imagining of how a situation could go - getting in the way of being wholly present in that situation." - (Iain Gorrie, Guitar & Vocals, Our Nameless Boy)
'Dress Rehearsal' is as delicate as it is commanding, delivering a dynamic soundscape that will charm all alternative music listeners. Clearly drawing inspiration from emo music of the early 00's this piece is like calm water slowly rippling before the storm, the vocal melody holds it together while the intricacies of the guitars add an interesting tone making 'Dress Rehearsal' stand out as something a little different from other music that's around in the alternative scene.
