Metalcore newcomers North of Ruins have dropped their debut single 'Billionaire Problem'.
North of Ruins are bringing thick riffs, a large chorus and more with their debut release 'Billionaire Problem'. The three-piece are taking on a early metalcore meets modern day style, creating a sound that sits somewhere between early Parkway Drive and Bleed From Within. The bands debut release is not only the first single to come from the band but comes as the first single from their upcoming EP, which the band is hopeful to release around June/July. Looking at their website the EP seems to consist of six-tracks including unreleased title 'All I Had' and the whole project was produced and mastered by Steven Jones (Bleed From Within/ From Sorrow to Serenity) 'Billionaire Problem' is an unrelenting track that is heavy from the first second. This one doesn't ease you in instead you are thrust into the aggressive tone of North of Ruins. This mighty piece takes you from loud screams and guttural sounds backed by fast guitars and thundering drums, to a chorus which has the same kind of raging power that you would find in a Parkway Drive track. For a debut release 'Billionaire Problem' is truly impressive and this is a band I am excited to be a fan of from the start.
