Bristol rock trio Krooked Tongue have released their high octane new single 'Drugstore Cowboy'.

Krooked Tongue have released their brand new single 'Drugstore Cowboy' which is taken from their upcoming album 'I Know A Place'. The trio's debut studio album is set for release in April of 2026. Since bursting onto the scene in 2022, Krooked Tongue have been continuously earning their place with big rock singles. 'Marigold', 'Let 'Em Loose', 'Ember Mile', 'Nothing Ever Grows', 'Dog Days', and 'You Don't Need A Sun Tan' all saw support from Apple editorials 'Breaking Hard Rock', 'New In Rock' as well as the New Noise Magazine, HEAVY Magazine, CLOUT, Fab UK, Bristol 24/7, Sirius XM, Total Rock, Primordial Radio and Boogaloo Radio. 'Nothing Ever Grows' was also used throughout the Bivol vs Beterbiev boxing fight on DAZN Sports and 'Let 'Em Loose' was used to soundtrack Progress Wrestling's live show at London's Electric Ballroom. New single 'Drugstore Cowboy' lyrically explores the cause and effect of living selfishly while keeping a lively energy and sing-a-long vocals.
"'Drugstore Cowboy' is a high octane chase through downtown, knocking over newstands, bumping into passerby and tearing through the clustered chaos of the everyday hustle and bustle." - (Oli Rainsford, Vocals & Bass, Krooked Tongue)
The upbeat energy of 'Drugstore Cowboy' alongside the infectious vocals makes this in my opinion Krooked Tongue's most accessible rock leaning track to date. Veering slightly away from the large anthemic sound and taking on this more radio friendly personality. 'Drugstore Cowboy' is the kind of song you'd hear playing in a shop or cafe somewhere and you'd immediately be trying to figure out what it is so you can play it at home. While not immediately grabbing me like a lot of Krooked Tongue songs this ones more of a slow burn and by the end I definitely wanted to go back and listen again.
