Gtarzee makes a hard rocking debut with 'Living a Lie', a tale of online relationships gone wrong.
Gtarzee is making a rocking debut with his debut single 'Living a Lie' from his upcoming solo album. Gtarzee is a solo project by Tim Norrgrann. He is best known for being the co-founder, composer, occasional lyricist, lead guitarist and backing vocalist of Finnish-Canadian rock band Forth. Norrgrann is building a reputation with his melodic songwriting. The musician originally started playing guitar early on in their life but switched to bass in the early 2000's when he joined pop rock band Beneath the Bed and Prog rock group Ethereal. It wasn't until 2008 when Norrgrann joined Naked Idol that he switched back to lead guitar. More recently the artist played bass on the 2010 song 'Voittaja' by Kultakypora that was the theme song for Fintoto. Then in the same year with Canadian vocalist Brian Forth, The Roc was formed before changing their name to Forth. The band have released three albums 'Road Stories' (2014), Captivity (2019) and most recent 'Forth' (2021). Norrgrann now continues alongside Forth while also embarking on his solo career. 'Living a Lie' is a fictional story of love and deciet online. This story is something that many people can identify with, the lies and mixed feelings of falling in love online has become all to relevant with the recent pandemic but this song can also be a story for any relationship that have gone wrong. Accompanied on the track by Finnish singer/bassist Marco Luponero (Marco Luponero & The Loud Ones, Terrorwheel, Altaria) on vocals and Kari Storckovius (Forth) on drums.Gtarzee gives us a melodic rock track that was partly recorded at his home studio and party at Soundwell Studio by Vallteri Kallio who also mixed the album. 'Living a Lie' is mastered by Janne Hakanen and is released through Secret Entertainment.
