Earlier this year alternative rock outfit FOXHAUNT released their massive single 'The Daylight Between Us', which features vocals from Sixth Wonders Rebekah Kirk.

FOXHAUNT team up with Sixth Wonder on their addictive single 'The Daylight Between Us'. From Leeds, UK, FOXHAUNT have been making waves in the alternative rock scene since their formation in 2018. With influences including Alexisonfire, Linkin Park, Don Broco and Story of the Year, the lads have built a sound that's fittingly modern but uniquely their own. Fusing captivating melodies with powerful riffs FOXHAUNT are making music that sets them apart from the crowd. The bands newest single was born out of frustration, inspired by the ever growing divide in society due to power and wealth.
"'The Daylight Between Us' is inspired by the growing divide in society driven by power and wealth. The lyrics highlight how those at the top make decisions that negatively impact ordinary people - decisions made without ever walking in their shoes. This divide is something we see in everyday life, and it's especially apparent in the music industry, where art is increasingly viewed as disposable and undervalued. This song was born out of frustration, and we wanted to send a message through our own art form." - (FOXHAUNT)
Further powering their unique sound 'The Daylight Between Us' dips into something heavier which led to FOXHAUNT inviting Sixth Wonder vocalist Rebekah Kirk to join them on the track.
"This is a really cool song to be a part of, it's pretty different to the style that my band play so it's been fun working in a new section of the genre! Super grateful to the Foxhaunt lads, and Robin Adams for getting me in to be part of this one." - (Rebekah Kirk, Vocalist, Sixth Wonder)
Definitely one of the heavier ones in FOXHAUNT's discography 'The Daylight Between Us' takes on a bit of an aggressive personality, acting as a punch in the face. However, this track is equally as fun and bouncy as it is loud and packed with frustration. If I had to describe it in one word I would say 'addictive', I love the way each instrument feels like they are almost racing each other to be the fastest in the verses but the chorus has more of a soaring rock feel. Adding vocals from Rebekah Kirk gives the song even more of a bloodthirsty energy. 'The Daylight Between Us' is more than likely to become one of your new favourite songs.
