Modern metal act Crimson Spire channel the loneliness of isolation in new single 'Unlikely Finding'.
Scottish modern metal act Crimson Spire have released their second single 'Unlikely Finding'. Inspired by artists like Northlane or Linkin Park, Crimson Spire are a new metal act that are blurring the lines between aggression and atmosphere. Within the two singles that the group have released they have created a futuristic yet familiar sound that had me more than a little intrigued. With 'Unlikely Finding' Crimson Spire create a futuristic almost cyberpunk edged track that's heavy on the riffage and powerful vocal lines. Capturing the struggles of searching for a soulmate in a barren desert-like world this is a track that definitely feels otherworldly and sci-fi esque but with just enough relatable emotion. Sound wise 'Unlikely Finding' takes on everything from crushing metal riffs, gorgeous soaring vocals, a huge anthemic chorus and a breakdown that explodes into life. I am very excited to have found out about these guys and this is only their second release, Crimson Spire are a band you should be putting on your radar.
