Camens - Anything To Win
Camens take a bold turn with new single 'Anything To Win'.
Camens have released their first taste of upcoming album 'LOS KARMA' with bold swaggering single 'Anything To Win'. The four-piece band from Stoke-on-Trent showed promise right from the get-go with their debut album 'Work/Life/Balance' charting #9 in the UK. Since that release the act have been hard at work creating their next installment, second album 'LOS KARMA'. This one is set for release Februrary 12th 2027 and you can listen to first single 'Anything To Win' now.
"It's about how ruthless this industry actually is. You can pour everything into it and still get overlooked. We wanted to write something honest about that." - (Scott Powell, Bass & Vocals, Camens)
While 'Anything To Win' maybe isn't my typical go to kind of music to write about on here I couldn't help myself. The infectious alt indie pop piece has the coolest vibes and is packed with loads of swagger. Fitting to the desert cover art that accompanies it this is a track that belongs in the sun and dry heat with it's fun little grooves, light bouncy beat and some of the most addicitive vocal lines I've heard in a while. Just based on this song alone I wouldn't be surprised to see Camens chart even higher with their upcoming album.
