Calva Louise release their explosive new single 'Impeccable' ahead of their next album.

'Impeccable' is the next installment to come from Calva Louise's upcoming album 'Edge of the Abyss', which will be available via Mascot Records on July 11th. The band that found each other from opposite corners of the world. The trio known as Calva Louise may have come from various places but they have found their community in the UK. The bands unique sound, use of narrative and DIY spirit has gained them a formidable reputation. On the UK live circuit they've performed slots at the likes of Download, 2000Trees Festival and they even headlined the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading and Leeds Festival. Alongside this they have shared stages with the likes of Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Razorlight, Boston Manor, Bloodywood, and in 2024 they headed out on a co-headline tour of the US with VUKOVI. Set in 1994 new single 'Impeccable' is a direct sequel to 'W.T.F', which introduced the protagonist Louise, who is experiencing bizarre happenings inside her home. When Louise catches a glimpse of the thing that's been stalking her, she finds it's an uncanny version of herself, her "double".

With a strong horror them,'Impeccable' is a mammoth sized single that combines the bands unique blend of punk, metal and electronica. This track immediately has become a favourite of theirs for me, it's so inventive and I am obsessed with not only the way you can feel the horror seep through, from not only the lyrics but the instrumentals as well. The whole song is composed in a way that almost allows you to feel the fear the protagonist of the story is experiencing. Then on top of everything else Calva Louise have even managed to create a track that has a catchy riff and a chant like chorus that is more than likely going to get stuck in your head. I could ramble for ages about how much I love this track and that's before I even get started on the video, so do yourselves a favour and when you go to check it out, watch the video too.
